Citadel 1986 on iOS

Citadel 1986
I've just released Citadel 1986 on the App Store. It's just $0.99 for the full version, and there's a free 'lite' edition should you want to try it out first.

Development went smoothly but the release was delayed for a few months by a bout of 'what-is-the-point', something a lot of developers must get when they realise there's over a billion apps on the App Store. After some reflection I've decided that's there's no point in not releasing it

So yeah, if you're reading this, click the cover image for the App Store links, try it out and let me know what you think

Citadel 1986 Released

I just uploaded the full version of Citadel 1986

At the moment there's just a PC version, but the Mac and Android versions will be made available soon and will be included with your original purchase.

You can try out the trial version for free, please let me know what you think.

Pixel Art Animatronics

A quick work in progress video, creating some pixel art monsters for Citadel 1986. I've not done this sort of thing since the Amiga days. It's nice not being restricted to 32 colors, although I do miss DPaint a little

Citadel 1986 Beta

I've just uploaded the beta version of my new game Citadel 1986, a retro platform game inspired by my favourite Commodore 64 games. It's suitable for all, although it may appeal more to retro gamers of a certain age

To play, use the cursor keys and pretty much any other key to jump/swim. You can also use your gamepad, there's a config screen available from the options menu.

Please let me know what you think, your feedback will help me finish off the game. I'll also be posting some work-in-progress updates over the next couple of weeks.

New Games in Development

I've been working on a number of games recently and a couple of them are close to being released. Here's a short video of some work-in-progress footage.
It's been fun experimenting in a variety of genres, and the games are all different in scale. Although the designs are all mobile friendly, they'll still play great on PC & Mac
